Downtown Kelowna’s CRAFT Beer Market is up for some continent-wide accolades.
The Bernard Avenue establishment is one of nine nominees for the best rooftop patio in North America, and one of just three in Canada, including Banff’s Sky Bistro and the Broadview Hotel in downtown Toronto.
A panel from the World Culinary Awards picks the nominees annually.
The rooftop at CRAFT boasts the ability to hold up to 200 guests, and is complimented by murals, a fireplace, and the ability to serve over 100 beers on tap – but don’t forget the view.
“Although we are honoured to be nominated for this award, the nomination is deserving of our amazing backdrop in the Okanagan,” said founder PJ L’Heureux. “We are extremely proud to showcase the Okanagan and specifically Kelowna to the world with this nomination nod.”
Accessible by the Banff Gondola, the Sky Bistro in Banff sits on the summit of Sulphur Mountain, offering diners breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains.
The winner of the prestigious honour now comes down to a public vote, which is open at worldculinaryawards.com. Voting closes on June 30.
