Pacific Coastal Airlines has launched a new nonstop service between Kelowna International Airport (YLW) and Comox Valley Airport (YQQ).
The first flights took off the morning of June 25.
“Our team is ecstatic following the successful route launch between Kelowna and Comox offering our third non-stop flight option from Kelowna to Vancouver Island,” said Johnathan Richardson, VP of customer and commercial.
The new service is an excellent addition according to YLW Chief Executive Officer Sam Samaddar.
“Thank you to Pacific Coastal Airlines for continuing to add these regional routes, connecting our communities and providing more travel options for Okanagan residents.”
Comox Valley Airport CEO Mike Atkins noted his community has been looking forward to the new route.
