Spooky season is just around the corner.
As Halloween is now mere weeks away, Vernon’s Field of Screams at O’Keefe Ranch has announced its newest concoction of blood-curdling terror, including four new mazes for those brave enough to enter:
Werewolf’s Revenge – A reclusive hermit, once a war veteran, has turned to dark science, creating a new breed of werewolves that stalk the night. Traverse his junkyard lair filled with twisted metal and forsaken relics.
Medieval Mayhem – Explore the haunted corridors of an ancient castle. Ghostly figures will appear, such as a bloodthirsty executioner and a malevolent queen amidst chilling torture devices.
Asylum – Dare to enter the abandoned asylum where the echoes of past torments linger. This maze presents decaying corridors and spirits of former inhabitants eager to share their suffering.
Ghost Ship Island – Haunted pirate captains guard their spectral treasures. Navigate through the ominous cave of wonders, encountering sea beasts and sirens.
The four immersive mazes will be fully staffed with dedicated actors and intricate set design.
Gates will open at 6:30 p.m., with the mazes in operation until 10 p.m. Field of Screams opens Friday, Sept. 27, running that weekend until Sept. 29, then Oct. 3 to 6, 9 to 13, 16 to 20, 23-27, and Oct. 30 to Nov. 3.
General admission and VIP tickets can be purchased at fosokanagan.com. Auditions for scare actors are also taking place until Sunday, Sept. 8.
