While understandably renowned for its magnificent landscape, the Tofino area also has a lot to offer on the food front. Here’s a quick guide to some must-visit favourites!
DAY 1
Check-in, then head to The Hatch Waterfront Pub to unwind on the patio with a craft beer or cocktail and panoramic views of the Tofino Inlet. They have a great Happy Hour from 3 to 5:30 p.m. daily, and kids are welcome until 10 p.m.

Try a healthy brunch at the vegan restaurant Bravocados to get energized for a full beach day. A trip to Tofino wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Tacofino Cantina at the Outside Break location for a late lunch or skip the line by visiting the Tacofino location at the Long Beach Golf Course if you’re in the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.
Make dinner reservations at Shelter Restaurant for an evening that won’t disappoint.
DAY 3

Do you love barbecue? Follow your nose to the end of Mackenzie Beach Road to Lil Ronnie’s Beachside BBQ joint for mouthwatering smoked brisket and ribs that will leave you fully satisfied.
And don’t forget to make a stop at Picnic Charcuterie and Summit Bread Co. on Industrial Way to get some gourmet treats for the journey home.
