An American country music star is the face of this year’s design at the Chilliwack Corn Maze.
Greendale Acres recently announced its Luke Bryan-themed corn maze, along with an inaugural Corn Festival.
The layout of the 10-acre field, bearing the name and likeness of the five-time Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year and American Idol judge, shows Bryan strumming a guitar alongside a pair of cowboy boots.
The corn maze opens on Thursday, Aug. 1 and the Corn Festival is set for Aug. 3 and 4.

The first-ever sweet corn festival will feature “good old-fashioned farm fun” including a corn-eating and corn-shucking competition, according to the event description.
“Test your speed and appetite against fellow corn enthusiasts and see who can claim the Chilliwack Corn Eating Champion.”
The competitions are at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3 and Sunday, Aug. 4.
Additionally, there will be live music, lots of activities for kids, face painting and a cornhole tournament.
Live entertainment includes Pederson Due from 4 to 6 p.m. and Ryan McCallister from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3; and Clementine Music, a kids music party, on Sunday, Aug. 4 from 4 to 6 p.m.
To go along with the Luke Bryan country music-themed corn maze, Greendale Acres will have family-friendly music events every Saturday night in August featuring local musicians and bands.
Greendale Acres is located at 41905 Yale Rd. W. in Chilliwack. The corn maze is open from Aug. 1 to Oct. 31. For more information, including tickets, go to greendaleacres.ca.
