The B.C. Okanagan’s Rock the Lake Festival, filling downtown Kelowna July 12 to 14, is adding to its already stellar lineup, with just-announced Wide Mouth Mason joining Our Lady Peace, 54-40 and Tom Cochrane.
Also previously announced were Grammy-nominated bands Daughtry, Hoobastank and Theory of a Deadman, as well as Canada’s Texas King and the retro metal group Lynam, all rocking the three-day festival at the outdoor plaza of Prospera Place.
Saskatoon’s Wide Mouth Mason has been rocking for nearly 30 years with a sound that blends alternative rock, pop, blues, and jam-band vibes. Formed in 1995, they quickly gained attention with their debut album The Nazarene, and their 1997 self-titled follow-up brought them major success in Canada.
Daughtry recently joined Big Machine Records with their single featuring Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale, Artificial.” Hoobastank is best known for their 4x platinum single “The Reason,” popularized over two decades on countless TV shows and more recently, on TikTok.
Canadian touring workhorse Texas King also joined the line-up this year along with Alabama’s rock trio, Lynam who were influenced by Def Leppard.
