Kootenay National Park is one of six national parks within an easy drive of Golden, B.C.
It’s known for Radium Hotsprings, the continental divide, Marble Canyon, the Kootenay Valley Viewpoint and more.
Two rivers flow in the park, the Kootenay River and the Vermillion River.
The peak visiting season is from June to September, although the park is generally open all year with some limited winter camping.
