Pigeon Lake, located about 60 km from Wetaskiwin, is one of Alberta’s most popular recreation areas.
With 10 summer villages, four unincorporated communities and the Pigeon Lake Indian Reserve, the lake is heavily used year-round by boaters and cottage goers.
Pigeon Lake Provincial Park is a large campground surrounded by mixed forests with boat launch, lake view sites and showers. Hiking and biking on forested trails is available, and there are furnished yurts available.
