The mouthwatering Victoria Hot Chocolate Festival pours 32 days of sweet treats Jan. 20 to Feb. 20.
In support of the BC SPCA Victoria Community Animal Centre, a number of local businesses will create one-of-a-kind hot chocolate experiences at this delicious event.
Among the 14 participating businesses is Duo Cafe Bakery at Inn at Laurel Point, which has a signature hot chocolate inspired by the flavours of classic Thai coffee. This creation boasts a velvety dark chocolate base infused with the vibrant freshness of basil.
Meanwhile, Floyd’s Diner offers a daring twist with their fusion of chocolate and bacon. Their featured hot chocolate includes steamed milk and (pink) white chocolate, crowned with a generous dollop of real whipped cream and candied bacon.

While each participating business determines the price of their hot chocolate, the Hot Chocolate Festival takes a charitable approach.
For every sale made, $1 is earmarked for the BC SPCA Victoria Community Animal Centre. The festival was conceived as a delightful means of fostering community bonds while championing a local cause. This year’s target is to raise $10,000 for the centre.
